AMMP Universal Assay Development Kit
BioScale’s proprietary Acoustic Membrane MicroParticle (AMMP™) technology is solidly grounded with traditional biological assay methods. The unique integration of microparticles, a universal sensor, and acoustic detection creates a technique that is highly robust and versatile. Every aspect of the process — capture strategy, assay format, flow rate, reagent formulation, incubation time, etc. — is easily customizable to meet specific analytical needs. These flexible elements can be adjusted at run time to deliver different performance attributes based on research objectives. AMMP Protein A Detection Kit
Protein A-based adsorbents are by far the most widely used materials for capture and purification of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. In most Protein A affinity chromatography applications, small amounts of the protein A ligand are leached from the affinity medium into the eluate. A common biopharmaceutical manufacturing process dependant impurity, Protein A is capable of compromising the efficacy of final drug products and producing adverse reactions in patients. We have developed a kit to detect Protein A contamination as part of process monitoring and quality control drug development and manufacturing.

AMMP Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) Host Cell Protein (HCP) Detection Kit
One of the most important sources of contamination during product development and production of biopharmaceuticals are host cell proteins (HCPs) originating in the production cell line.We have developed a reagent kit that specifically meets the needs of drug manufacturers that start upstream with Chinese Hamster Ovary cell lines and need to assess their processes for CHO-HCP contamination.
The AMMP CHO-HCP assay was developed to help process engineers demonstrate manufacturing consistency, perform routine quality control, and for final product release testing.
An HCP assay developer’s kit is available for developing custom HCP assays.

Product Titer Detection Kits
The challenges of dealing with complex samples, such as fermentor samples with high cell concentration, can be overcome with the ViBE platform. With the ViBE, there is no sample treatment required and quantitation has been verified with “no spin” samples containing over 10 million cells.
